Returning Devices*

IMPORTANT:

Return devices only after being instructed to do so by an Asurion Agent. Shipping a device outside of the processes listed below could result in the device being miss-routed or lost. For further assistance, please contact us at 1-866-667-2540.

*Battery and/or card removal instructions are not applicable to the iPhone.

Sending in the damaged device you received from your wireless provider

  1. Remove battery and any cards from phone.
  2. Replace back-cover if applicable.
  3. Place phone without battery/card in the WHITE envelope included with your replacement device. NOTE: Do not include any accessories like a charger or belt clip.
  4. Place sealed envelope in your mailbox for pick-up by your mail carrier or drop off at your local post office -- All postage is paid.

Returning a replacement phone sent to you by Asurion

  1. Remove battery and any cards from phone.
  2. Replace back-cover if applicable.
  3. Place phone without battery/card in the YELLOW envelope included with your replacement device. NOTE: Do not include any accessories like a charger or belt clip.
  4. Place sealed envelope in your mailbox for pick-up by your mail carrier or drop off at your local post office -- All postage is paid.

Returning your phone before you receive a replacement

  1. Only perform these steps if instructed to do so by an Asurion Agent
  2. Remove battery and any cards from phone.
  3. Replace back-cover if applicable.
  4. Package phone without battery/card into a box. NOTE: Do not include any accessories like a charger or belt clip. Do not use original device packaging.
  5. Apply label supplied by Asurion Agent (via UPS delivery or e-mail) to the package.
  6. Drop off at nearest UPS store location -- No postage necessary.
